Hello recruiter!
Let's talk about the: Extended Candidate Profile feature.
What's this?
The Extended Candidate Profile feature was created so that you can customize the candidate's profile, allowing you to insert additional question fields alongside the ones that already exist: personal information, education, and professional experience etc.
Let's say that one of your position requirements is to have a driver's license. Now you'll be able to add a field on your candidate's profile, asking them to answer whether they have a driver's license or not.
We'll show you step-by-step how to use this new feauture!
First, go to "Settings" --> "Extended Candidate Profile":
By clicking on the "+" button: you'll be able to create the different candidate extended profiles.
In the pop-up screen that will open next:
1. You should give a name to your Extended Candidate Profile
2. You will choose which Hiring Workflow (Kanban) your Extended Candidate Profile will be linked to:
You can create up to 5 questions that will appear in the candidate's profile for them to answer. You can create open questions (Text), Multiple Choice, Checkboxes, or questions requesting a number type answer.
See the example below:
When candidates upload their resume, they will be asked to fill out the additional required information:
After the candidate completes their application process, you'll be able to view the answers at the bottom of the candidate's resume:
A benefit of this new feature is that you'll be able to filter candidates by the Extended Candidate Profile answers. To do this, go to the "LIST view within your position and click on the magnifying glass:
Then select "Extended Candidate Profile":
Simply select the type of Extended Candidate Profile then the question you want to use as a filter, and finally the answer.
Candidates that match your search will appear on the screen.
Pretty easy, huh? Now you'll have more freedom to customize your screening process and will be able to leave the questionnaire phase within Plooral for assessment tests only.
