Hi, Recruiter! It’s great to have you here! Do you have questions about the "candidate journey"? We’re here to answer them!
💙 This article will answer the questions:
- What is the “candidate journey”?
- How does the “candidate journey” work within Plooral?
What is the "candidate journey?"
The candidate's journey is the set of experiences they go through during their job search. That is to say, each of the steps they take throughout the selection process. Usually, the process includes the following steps:
- Hear about the company
- Consider an application
- Become interested in the position
- Apply/register for the selection process
- Be selected (for interviews, tests, etc.)
- Be hired by the company
How does the candidate journey work on Plooral?
During the selection process on the Plooral platform, from seeing a position listed on social media to being hired by your company, your candidate will go through 6 steps. We discuss each of these below:
1 – Seeing an ad for your position
When you post a job position on Plooral, it's automatically shared across multiple platforms, such as Indeed, Instagram, Plooral's App, LinkedIn, and more. It is on these platforms that, normally, candidates will discover your job positions.
2 - Visiting your positions page
Within the Plooral platform, you can set up a personalized positions page for your company, although, if you prefer, your candidates can also be directed to your official website. The positions page is where the candidate first encounters your company, so always try to keep it up to date. Want to learn more about the Positions page? Click here.
3 - Visiting your company's social networks
Before applying, your candidates will usually search for your company on social media to get to know you better. On platforms like LinkedIn, for example, there are hashtags where other candidates exchange evaluations of selection processes. So, make sure your social networks are always in order! You can also see your NPS level (a number that measures the satisfaction of your candidates) on your platform profile😉
4 - Applying for the position
Here the candidate will encounter your famous "pre-qualification funnel". When registering a new position on Plooral, you will customize the steps in your funnel to create the path that your candidate will take. The funnel follows these steps:
Presentation of your company: Space where you can add videos, images, and testimonials, so that your candidates can get to know your company – in addition to its values, culture and mission.
Frequently Asked Questions: Here you can add a FAQ with frequently asked questions that can help candidates with some common questions.
Resume registration: Here the candidate can enter their personal and professional information.
Questionnaire and/or test: In this stage, the candidate will complete any questionnaires you require (with open or multiple-choice questions) to assess the candidate's technical and/or behavioral skills. Want to learn more about the questionnaire step? Click here.
Candidate recording: Here, the candidate will be able to record a presentation video. This step is optional; you can add it if you feel the job profile requires it.
5 - Receiving communications during and after the application process
It is at this stage that Kanban comes into play, where, as a recruiter, you can visualize your entire internal process (which can also be customized). In it, you can also add automated messages to chat with your candidates and call them for interviews, for example.
6 - Getting feedback, whether selected or failed
In Kanban, you also have the option of sending either automated or personaliz Plooral platform.
